Private Tour in One Day

In the morning we shall meet at your hotel and start the journey going north of Bucharest, right in the heart of Carpathian Mountains.

After approximate 1 ½  hours we'll arrive in Sinaia, a very popular mountain resort related for a long time to the Royal family of Romania. The Royal family built the beautiful Peles Castle as their summer residence and it is now one of the most visited castles in Romania all year long.

We will pass by Sinaia Monastery consisting of two churches, the original built in 1695 while the newer one in 1846.

The tour continues to the most famous castle in Romania, Bran Castle. The document first attesting its existence dates back to 1377. The castle became a favorite place for Queen Maria who put her mark on the interior’s renovation. It was later seized by communists in 1948, after the royals’ expulsion from Romania.

But Bran Castle is most associated with the myth of Dracula’s Castle - linked to the Bram Stoker’s novel, which made it famous all over the world.

After the tour of the castle, you'll be welcomed to enjoy some  souvenir shopping. Also, before or after visiting Bran Castle, we can stop for lunch at a traditional Romanian restaurant with a beautiful overview of Bran town and the Castle. Lets hope the sun will accompany us.

The very fresh air will surely make you think of having lunch, so we shall head to our last stop, Brasov. You’re now in Transylvania. Brasov is one of the seven medieval cities founded by Saxons over 800 years ago. You'll enjoy a guided walk in Old Town and the Black Church – the most visited landmark of the city.

In the late afternoon or evening we shall drive back to your hotel in Bucharest.
