I took a tour to salt mines, winery and muddy volcanos. To start with, I should say that Mihai is not an ordinary tour guide. By the end of the tour you realise that he is more like an old friend.details
I count myself lucky to have got Mihai as a guide on my recent trip to Romania. He created an itinerary that took in experiences I would never have considered. On top of the list was an authentic stay at a traditional Romanian village (including arranging for dinner in the kitchen of a local villager).details
I doubt very much you will find a better guide/driver than Mihai. He was everything we were looking for for this, our first trip to Romania: informed, enthusiastic, prompt, flexible, pleasant, spoke English clearly, trustworthy--you name it.details
Mihai is a great guy, very helpful and informative and even kept in touch before and after the tour to offer advice on the rest of our trip in Romania. He happily adjusted the days schedule to include something which we wanted to visiting a bat cave near Bran - despite his fear of bats!details
